Radio Humberside suffered some connection issues during its pre-match coverage, hence, they broadcast portions of Radio Manchester as backup.

Due to further connection problems, Radio Humberside took Radio Manchester's commentary from the 10th minute of the first half, the entire second half (when Hunte joined Radio Manchester's commentary) and the post-match coverage.

Turner presented the half-time coverage.
